  • Kardo hand make all their clothes in their workshop in New Delhi using unique, handcrafted textiles
  • Every item is cut and made by one tailor; their name and the names of the skilled team who finish the item are written on the inside label
  • The painting on the back of this piece is a form of painting by one of the largest tribal communities in India, the Gond, who mostly hail from Madhya Pradesh, the technique involves painting in a line and dot form.
  • These pieces have been painted by Mahesh Shyam, a 28 year old Gond artist from Bhopal. His paintings depict tales from the forest and nomadic life of the tribe inspired by the stories he heard from his grandparents who lived in the forest
  • Woven on a handloom in Gondal, Gujarat, by the weaving collective 'Udyog Bharti' that supports over 2000 weaving families in sustainable textile production
  • Part of their premium Craft collection
